Let me introduce myself…

Hi, I’m Renee Davies, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself and my business, Artworx Murals.

A little bit about me...
I’ve always had a passion for painting, a love that has been with me since I was a child! My journey as an artist began at just 12 years old, when I held my first exhibition. Over the years, I’ve won numerous competitions and received commissions both locally and internationally. With over 30 years of experience, I’ve worked with every medium imaginable, from finger-painting to spray cans, brushes, and spray guns.

I moved to the beautiful Mid North Coast over 20 years ago from the Central Coast. For 15 years, I worked as a primary producer, but my love for the ocean eventually led me to new opportunities. With a close friend, I co-founded the Beach Break Cafe in North Haven and the Bean Round Coffee Caravan. However, my journey didn’t stop there—I had another idea. I sold the businesses, bought a van (which I converted into a camper with the help of my son), and set off to travel around Australia.

It was during my travels that I discovered my love for murals. The stunning artwork I encountered in towns across the country left a lasting impression, not only on me but on the communities as well. It was clear to me that murals had the power to transform spaces and connect people. I also saw so many places that could really benefit from an artistic touch to bring their surroundings to life.

Inspired by this, I decided to take the leap and create Artworx Murals. My goal is to share my gift as an artist, to paint big, make an impact, and help make spaces feel extra special!
